Political Campaigning 2023

I have taken part in door to door street canvassing in wards across the city. When I was chosen as 2023 candidate for the new Hollingdean & Fiveways Ward I began to concentrate on this area and, with my fellow Labour Party activists, we achieved much success in encouraging voters to trust in Labour and turn out and vote for change on Thursday 4 May.

It was not all endless leafleting and knocking on doors. We were able to enjoy some social events, some relaxation which helped top up our enthusiasm and spirit of comradeship, sharing our experiences.

As we were getting a picture of just how the people in the community were looking for a positive change, we were the more optimistic, but never taking anything for granted. Looking forward to Election Day, we knew there was still much work to be done.
